Hi John, does your camera have manual mode? When you are starting your painting the image is super white and unpleasent to watch, try to set your camera exposure manually so you can control it better.
No problem friend, video is still amazing as always.
You can easily set everything before start painting,just put your camera on full manual mode, set the ambient lighting as you always do then use a painted canvas for adjusting the camera color balance, exposure and focus. As long as your camera is on manual mode colors and lighting will keep the same until you finish recording.
