Plein air or outdoor painting at Fantasy World, Lemery, Batangas, Philippines with 2Q Artists Group. Fantasy World is like an abandoned Dineyland or Disney World in the Philippines.

It was Monday morning when we headed to Lemery for an outdoor painting, entrance fee was 100 pesos each. We tried to enter in the old castle but unfortunately we need to pay 5,000 pesos for our equipments because we had easels, cameras and drone. We were very disappointed because of it and we decided to find another location and asked for refund. When we were on the road going out from the castle's vicinity we noticed that the view of the castle was very pleasing from the road. So we decided to paint from where we stop and find some better place to put our easels. I used acrylic paints as my medium, others used pastels and watercolors.

It's fun to do outdoor or plein air landscape painting with artists friends. We travel for just less than 1 hour to reach this simple and beautiful destination in Peebles Beach, San Carlos City. I love the old house in nipa hut and also love the surrounding coconut or palm trees. I also like the golden colors of the grasses because it's summer here. I used acrylic painting as my medium on canvas and it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to finished the entire painting with 12x16 inches size of canvas. The old tree in the left side had a very beautiful peeling skins and love to paint its textures. I always remember it was a fun painting day.

This is not a tutorial video. Me and my artist friends gathered last May 8, 2016 to have an outdoor painting session at Canlaon City. We found a spot on Oisca Farm near a well-known Century Banyan Tree which was more than 1000 years old. I liked the group of tree formations and their trunks have white peels which added to its beauty. I finished the painting for 40 to 50 minutes. Please enjoy watching us painting.
