This isn’t just a portrait; it’s a monumental homage to the unyielding spirit of the agricultural backbone of our society. When I set out to paint a portrait of a farmer, I wanted to go beyond the conventional representation and instead, sculpt a visual metaphor for their strength, endurance, and profound connection to the land. In this farmer painting, the central figure isn’t flesh and blood, but a colossal statue, imbued with the weight of generations.
