This tutorial is almost the same on my time-lapse video "mountains and cliffs". I just wan't to show the technique on how I painted the first version. This one is more simple than the first one but the technique is the same. Just enjoy watching it... Happy painting.. :)

Thank you for watching!

  1. May I ask what did you lighten the mountain with air brush after you put the paint on ,it edited and the mountain all of a sudden changed lighter and fog .can you tell us with your teaching I am an artist I use air brush to lighten the background with tin white:

  2. Hi! Amazing work and a really easy to follow tutorial that I had a lot of fun with. Do you mind if I post a picture of my finished painting on my IG with credit to your video and a link to check it out?

  3. Thank u so much😄😄 You are one of the best instructors of acrylic painting i have come across on youtube...Your instructional videos are simple yet the art you make in them is elegant😄😄 Thank u once again😄😄

  4. Is that a real rooster? I have a hard time understanding you at times. I would like to understand you better, so I can follow along. I think you’re a fine artist so I would like to learn your techniques. Thank you, Rick

  5. thank you john for all your videos. what i particularly like, apart from the painting, is that we can hear noises in the background which are very refreshing such as a rooster, or children playing.i try to picture you, its very pleasant, thanks

  6. Just one other thing... I couldn’t make out what you were saying, (I’m a bit deaf!) but it didn’t really interfere with the lesson.

  7. Great painting... pity about the annoying rattle from the easel and background screaming. I marvel you manage to do such wonderful work with those distractions! I am going to follow your painting demonstrations as they are On my way! what different from the norm and very inspiring.
