This video while is a good painting technique needs more narration explaining brush size, strokes, etc. Another issue is the light comes from upper left but sky is darker on left than on right.

You said you did this on cardboard. I need practice just starting out. I have both board canvas and stretch canvas, but also large pieces of white poster board. I could use cut out 10/8 of them. Do I need to gesso first, or can I do Acrylics right on the board. Much thanks, I'm 78 and housebound.

hello Joyce. sorry for my late response.. yes you can use that board... just add 1 coat of acrylic white instead of gesso...
