Painting tutorials for beginners on how to start acrylic painting. This video is a guide for beginners and to those who decided to try acrylic painting. For me, this are the most basic way if you haven't tried acrylic painting and you're hesitant to use it, you can follow the 5 basic way to do it. You can skip the first one in which you will create your own canvas because you can buy canvasses from art store and galleries. For this video you can learn mixing by using 5 limited colors on palette, blending of colors, matching from reference and making highlights and shadows. My advice is to keep practicing how to use your brushes and how to mix. Good luck everyone and happy painting! Please don't forget to subscribe!

  1. I love ALL of your paintings and tutorials I constantly watch and practice painting. I'm obsessed ❤ one question I have is, keeping my paint wet. Slow down drying so fast. Is a glazing medium or something else with or without water good to use??

  2. Thank you Sir John for these quick tutorials, Im learning and very excited to start my painting journey

  3. i am a beginner. i have found your tutorials very helpful. every tutorial i attempted gave me lot of joy. i use acrylic paper. i have started applying gesso to the paper too. but still, i think canvas allows you to apply many layers with ease. in case of paper, it is difficult to apply the third layer. light highlights become more and more difficult to apply....canvas i have not yet picked up the courage to try...paper is convenient to buy and store...but still, the results are not bad....maybe i will switch to canvas for the full experience in future😀

  4. I'm not very good will tech. things. I have a Samsung phone but I don't understand how I'm supposed to get to the individual tutorials I would like to see the one on shading but I can't figure out how. Can somebody telling me?

  5. I want to ask, bro, if we make, for example, mountains, trees, rocks, sea, clear water, cliffs, dusk sky clouds and daytime sky clouds, what are the basic colors before making the details

  6. I have gone through the five tutorials. They are excellent. Using my experience and dilrmma I will recommend to anyone who is starting to paint with acrylics. They have been immensely helpful in learning color mixing in particular. Thank you John for these tutorials. There is another dilemma which beginners like me face, and that is drawing thin lines. A tutorial on this topic from you will help aspiring artists a lot. Looking forward to it.
