John, another great tutorial. I have not used the canvas paper pad, I've been cutting watercolor paper 18x24 into 4 pieces 12x9 and back tape them to a piece of 1/4" foam board on my easel. This works great for me. Following your tutorials helps improve my technique. As well as using primary colors and mixing to get the colors I need.

Hi John. I like that you showed how a beautiful painting can be created using only the 3 primary colors... plus black and white. The simplicity of this painting all the more highlights your focal point which is the vase. I have never tried the canvas sheet that you used here. I noticed that you had to apply more layers of paint (5 layers yata sa grass) to achieve the color and depth that you wanted. I don't have a lot of patience... so ayoko na yata yang canvas sheet, hehe! Another great job, John!
maraming salamat po Maam... yan po problema sa canvas pad. manipis lang po ang prime na gesso. dagdagan nalang po ng 2 coats ng primer bago pintahan.. hehe... First time ko din gamitin to.
