  1. Wow !!! You've just got a new subscriber here. I am amazed with how you get your landscapes look so realistic, like an oil painting!

I never watch acrylic tutorials until now! I've always had trouble using them, but am now curious since I've been using oil.

What brand of acrylics do you use if you don't mind? Watching your work makes me so excited to experiment with acrylics again! Thank you for again for sharing your talent...truly amazing!

    1. John magne Lisondra You're truly talented! I've seen professional artist use everything to mix there acrylics but water. you just proved that water is just as good if you use it right. plus, it saves money!

    2. You're welcome Robyn and thank you very much! Oil also is my favorite medium but I love acrylic because it dries fast. I mostly used Reeves and Liquitex basics. It's student grade acrylic but have good qualities...

  2. John, what brand of paint are you using? And do you prefer a thicker paint? I've been using a mix of interactive and Basic. They both seem to have there moments of shear joy and terror .

  3. Hey John! Greetings from Alaska! I love the colors, your work is amazing as usual... Haven't talked to you in a while, so much going on. Just wanted to tell you because of your encouragement and advice I went on to teach art at a local senior center and painted two consignment pieces! Thank you again. Merry Christmas, sincerely, Margo

    1. Oh that's a good news Margo.. Keep going... You're welcome and thank you also... Merry Christmas.. 🙂

  4. This almost looks like a scene in Louisiana where we used to live. It looks very inviting. Another good one, John!

  5. I envy your talent young man. You have the right brush stroke at the precise spot. Keep up the good work. Ray K.

    1. I'm amazed by your use of light that really makes your images come alive! I look forward to viewing more!

  6. Hoy jonh your, aré the best painter ever, God bless You, l love the Ways You teaching , mixing color es another talent, .

    1. John magne Lisondra truly amazing! I've seen professional artist use different mediums and tools e.g. brushes, airbrush, oils etc..in one painting to achieve what you've just shown us viewers here by using just acrylics, brushes and water! I'm already a huge fan with how much luminosity you produce by using just those 3 things! I mean, WOW!!!

    1. John magne Lisondra btw, the only precaution listed is "not for oil paints". I wonder if "for gold leaf" is a sales tool. Name it special- then u think you need a different can for each art piece?

    2. John magne Lisondra help! I sent my hubby to buy me a spray acrylic sealer. he returned with Fast drying acrylic for GOLD LEAF. UGH! It say for gold leaf, but it also says acrylic sealer. it was on Christmas sale, bless him for being frugal. can I use this on a purl acrylic painted canvas?

  7. I enjoy your work. What type mediums do you use or do you use water. Seems you never run out of paint on your brush. How do you keep it flowing so well?

    1. thank you.. I used only water... It's all in the right amount of mixing water into paint and also a good canvas surface will do the best..
