I love how you make it easy for us begginers to understand it but i have 2 questions : (1)is it necessary to add that gesso thingy and is there any substitute for that? (2) is it ok if i did some sketching first?will it affect to the quality of the image

sí ... Simplemente agregue agua cuando se siente duro en su cepillo ... solo sumerja la punta de su cepillo en el agua ... no agregue demasiada agua, solo lo suficiente para la pintura
