this is owesone. a question please... tyou are paiting on tissue or paper?
thank you.. It's actually a canvas sir..
Hi John, I am already subscribed and I have become addicted to your videos. So far painting is a hobby for me because I am not as good as you are. However I have a question for you since you are professional. Can one make a living by just painting? Because I want to improve my techniques and skills then find my niche and paint for a living. Thanks.
Hi John, Thank you so much for answering my question. I always had it on mind and now I think I know what to do next.
thank your for that question... Yes I am a full time artist... It's my work now.. I dropped my job as web developer and became a full time artist...
I really love your work, thank you for sharing....I would love to get to a point where I could "loosen" up my brushstrokes, one day at a time....LOL
You are soooo adorable and talented 😍😍😍
I love learning from you, you are very methodical for beginner painters! I've learned a lot from you but most valuable lesson is how to mix the colors! Thank you for being such a great teacher! Can you do a beach scene, friends are asking but I cannot do it alone. Still in the learning stages! Thanks!
you're welcome Marianne... thank you very much! I already have beach scene.. Maybe you can check this out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=peo-C0bx4AI
John magne Lisondra, thank you!
Very good tutorial, I've learned a lot from your lessons.
Thanks again!
I think you mentioned some details about it in the video but I can not find it now. How did you create this canvas? Was it done the same way as your "How to make a canvas" video, with staples, or was this one glued? If glued, which glue did you use?
It's the same process Petrik. This one is a bigger canvas.. I didn't glued a canvas on a plywood. In the future there will be problems when the plywood start to decay.
Nice work and thank you for sharing. However, the video seems out of focus, the whole canvass looks blurred. Oh, I see felpel102 has already mentioned that!
I actually followed one of your videos on how to paint a rose (red rose with a few leaves) but could not get it right. So I scanned it and loaded it into paint software and improved it a bit. I ultimately want to be able to paint on canvas and keep digital art as a learning base.
you're welcome.. I am working on that... Seems that it's my video camera cannot focus well...
Beautiful!
When you paint the sky do you use a wet or dry brush?
Thanks.
I used both.. when it feels hard I added water.
John magne Lisondra ...Hi John...that is beautiful...I feel like running down the path...your trees are amazing...vert realistic...and the Birch tree ...you rendered it so easy but looks real..the colors and texture of the bark....great work...colors are perfect and your dialogue leading the viewer to paint along with each step...like your New setup...and your actually doing it in real time....I know it took along time before when you edited it to do voice over due to background noise...but I think we all like you in real time and the background is no problem ...it allows the viewer to feel we are right there painting with you....you are very talented ....best acrylic YouTube artist...the best...please guys sub...comment...this helps him a lot...allows YouTube to know he's producing good content...share...he deserves it...he never leaves anything out and shares his true techniques with us....full tutorials ...and well explained...
thank you very much Joy... I used microphones to record my voice. Most of the background noise was really not good. Like the electric fan and some kids shouting... :)) Using a mic with noise reduction will reduce the noises and enhances my voice. Thanks again Joy.. Your comment gives me more confidence and inspirations..
ang ganda!!
Beautifully done! Thanks for sharing. ❤️ Please paint the Mayon Volcano. 🙏🏼
you're welcome Jacklyn... Yes I will try that in the future.
You outdid yourself again, John! This is my kind of painting... gorgeous! Your sun and highlights are simply stunning! I've actually painted one similar to this... but without the birch tree which, I think, is an excellent addition. And, of course, your painting is much nicer than mine, haha! Ganda talaga!
maraming salamat po Maam.. nilagay ko nalang ang birch tree para dalawa ang photo na aking reference
