  1. This painting looks simple enough but it's actually very difficult to do. It is not for beginners. In painting landscapes, you have plenty of room for mistakes... but not here. To get the shapes, the highlights and the shadows just right in a painting like this one, precision is needed. Also, blending with acrylic paint is very tricky since it dries so fast. Once again, John, you've shown how good an artist you are. Thank you for this... it is much appreciated. Malipayong Pasko og Bulahang Bag-ong Tuig!

    1. you're welcome Maam Malou.. thank you very much for that... yes this is for intermediate artists who wants to learn how I made my lights and shade. Although it's not that perfect. Thank you Malou and Malipayong Pasko ug Bulahang Bag-ong Tuig pud.. 🙂

  2. I love your paintings. They look so natural. Your use of mixing colors from a limited palate is fantastic..

  3. Hi John,
I love this holiday painting. Your play of light and shadows is spot on. I admire your work and appreciate your creative process. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us. Have a wonderful holiday season.
