dear John...your tutorials are amazing and so informative. actually I was looking for this only and voila I found it. thank you so much for this tutorial. would you help me in painting a tree really up close..meaning the leaves and branches but like in forefront..very close one. I am working on a painting which has a dome monument and I need to paint trees in front of it. and since it's up close..I am finding it difficult. please do help if you can. thank you again for your videos and for the time you take out for the same.

you're welcome.. Yes! I can give advice on how to do it. If it is really a big painting. You can use this tutorial to do the leaves. You can watch the part of this video where I painted the bigger leaves using the number 2 round brush. You can actually use a bigger brush for the dark background color of the leaves but need to detailed it with the number 2 round brush. It takes time to finish because you need to do the detailed leaves 1 by 1 but it will be worth it when your done... Maybe I will do a tutorial like that in the future... Thank you very much Anuja..
That looks great. Looks so easy. Will try this one too, Thank for sharing it really helps a lot.
you're welcome Maam... Thank you very much!
Outstanding! I could never thank you enough for sharing. You have taught me so much. Thank you John.

Lovely video 🙂 Thankyou so much for sharing 🙂
you're welcome.. thanks for watching.. 🙂
wow awsome thank you
you're welcome... thanks.
does it matter which red, blue or yellow that is used? In case we don't have the colors you suggest to use in this painting?
It's okay as long as the color is almost like the primary's... you can use taloudine red, ultramarine blue and hanza yellow. Anyway you can use any colors as long as you get the right combination for greens. You can experiment and have some fun on discovery.
thank you for sharing !
you're welcome.. 🙂
very nice
thank you..
Perfect timing, John! I'm painting a garden scene now and having a hard time with the leaves of some plants... and my grass doesn't look right. I think it's too neat. This video is a big help... as always. Keep those videos coming, please! Maraming salamat!
walang anuman po Maam Malou. Masaya po ako na nakatulong ito... keep it up po... I will add more.. 🙂
Wonderful
thank you E Will.
wonderful
I really like how the plants turned out and it was good to see how you painted them. Adding more different kind of plants to my artworks (I paint digitally not with acrylic) are my goal now becuase I used to paint just simple grass and some variety would look better, so your video came at the right time for me.
John magne Lisondra
It is different to paint digitally but the concept itself is the same. So how you explained to leave gaps and space between the leaves for example will not change. 🙂
thank you very much! It might be harder to paint digitally and I am glad this helps you..
Beautiful
Wonderful.......
This is so beautiful. I've learned an awful lot. Thank you so very much
you're welcome... thank you Sandy.
Great video John, Glad you decided to start talking on cam. 🙂

+John magne Lisondra (JMLisondra) you speak very well and your painting skills can teach a lot.
Thank you.. Yeah it's really hard for me... English is not my natural language.. Need to learn more from speaking.. 🙂
