you're welcome Lori and thank you 🙂
John I watch all your videos and have been following you since your very first video...I love your works. This is my favorite...I was going crazy wanting you to put foam patterns on the left side at 55:43..you did. This is a great example that you always do in the end is step back and have a over all look at the composition to make see if it needs anything else and in the end you give a great example again by having a look and popping in all the highlights and shadows here and there. Thanks John for all your hard work and teaching us to paint. You deserve so much more subs.
You're welcome and thank you very much 🙂 Yes I always start with darks and add the highlights..

Very relaxed loose painting John Loved it, great job Thank you and ps. the long pole on the boat is called the Mast and other word you were looking for was sails. You are just to cute.. I love how you just put that boat right on there no mistakes. ... I would be having to fix and fix some more. lol
thank you Dawn and for the info... 🙂 I analyzed it first and put the boat on there... and it's okay to commit mistakes, anyway it can be cover and fixed.. 🙂

its Beautiful! . I Love painting water... but I usually use Marino blue to pain water... I think it fits better.. I see you use pthalo. I like Pthalo blue too.. but I noticed pthalo blue and yellow lemon works best together...
fishergirl4jesus you can try to add ultramarine and medium yelllow, some orange to make it dramatic, i guess it can be good. 🙂
Thank you very much! You can use any shades of blue if it fits the right color... that would be great! 🙂
Super!
