  1. This was a very good video! It was calming listening to your voice and you were very focused. I can't wait to watch your other videos already posted and upcoming videos as well.

  2. i started this last night john and i cant believed myself it came out right for the first time! thanks for sharing...

  3. John, you've done it once again!! Your paintings are all just breath taking! But I do have (what might be a dumb one) a question. On almost all of your videos you mention both short and long handles on your brushes. Is there a difference in the brush besides the length of the handle? And what makes you decide on which one to use? Yes I am a beginner and still learning so I hope you don't mind if I pick your brain a bit. You have taught me a ton on mixing colors which I can't tell you how much I appreciate! I have done a lot of abstract paintings but I really want to learn how to do more realistic paintings like yours (hence why I have been stalking you... LOL) Thank you once again, John, on sharing your awesome talent with us!

    1. Hello Connie.. There was actually no difference in using the short and long handled brushes. Some of you might bought the long or the short brushes and asking if can use any of this. That's why I use both to let you see that there is no difference whether short of long handle. Anyway they are both flat. Thank you for that question and have a nice day... 🙂

  4. me encantan tus vídeos, aunque no hablo inglés,intento comprender, ya he hecho algunas de tus producciones!!ojalá hicieras uno en español,😋

  5. Hi I love your paintings the colors you use speak to me and make me want to try, but I`m scared that it will look ugly . Do you tape DVDs so I can paint any time. And stop the tape and run it back to see, how to do paint a part that I might have a problem with?

    1. Hi John thank you for your reply about the DVDs. I just bought some HGMI cables for my laptop to hook up to a TV. That will help me try to paint your beautiful paintings. Thank you again.

    2. thank you... I really want to make videos for DVD but my problem is that the shipping cost to other countries is really high. It cost around $50 to $60 and it arrive around 7 days.

  6. Ang galing mo Bro! I remember my Drafting class during my High School days. You're better than my teacher way back then. Keep it up. I enjoy watching your tutorials. I love the way you make it simple the things seems complicated to do.

    1. Good teacher, after thanking you, the beautiful work you do in sharing your experience, I tell you that I am doing my work with you, we will have the final result, I would like to share it with you and give me your evaluation, I hope to improve my Skills with their tutorials, thank you very much.

  7. You are very good artist.I like when you explain painting. Not the time lapse so much.Make them into two or even three videos

    1. I also have one painting in 4 episodes... I do that when I think the video will reach more than 2 hours..

  8. I have learned more from this ONE tutorial than I have learned by watching TEN tutorials made by different people! This is a beautiful painting.. thank you.
