  1. Its beautiful John! Everything came out awesome except your light reflecting. I think you had to much blue. Maybe just a shade lighter than your bottom color green. Or even a glaze made with zinc white . It's a transparent white.
The cliff walls and bottom composition are beautifully designed and colored. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™πŸŒ»

  2. Love the way you show how to adjust when you aren’t pleased with how something is looking in order to perfect it. Thank you for the detailed tutorial. I am learning so much watching you!

  3. Your tutorial and art are so beautiful. But had to keep adjusting my sound to adjust to your comments that went from normal to muttering. Distracting. But have subscribed all the same.

  4. you are such a great and generous teacher john magne! I feel I can use the techniques you have shared for the koi painting I did months before with oil. Godbless you!

  5. Imho that last streak of reflection is unnecessary. Would be better if he showed how to add someone lazing on the water either on a kayak or a float.

  6. Thanks for the informative tutorial. The scene you decided on was very fun and soothing. I cant w8 to get started trying my best to copy it. Your voice is very calming, easy on the ears. You are very gifted thanks for sharing it with us. I'm subscribed to less than 10 channels but I did subscribed to yours just now. Im Looking forward to future works from you. Thanks again, Street from Ga, Usa

  7. Watching you work with the paints side by side with the canvas is extremely helpful. This tutorial is a very good one to learn the basics of underwater scenes.. I love your use of the basic colors. And I can see how the different color highlights bring shallow water more visible.

  8. I have done two of your tutorials now and I loved both results! I still can't quite get mine as good as yours, but I am happy with my progress. I never had the time or money to take a real art class, so thank you for sharing you talent with us!
