This is the first episode and the first step in painting this portrait. This video consists of doing the graphs or grid lines to copy the exact form of the reference photo. This also includes the first layer of painting the face or the base color which includes adding the dark lines or tones of the important parts of the face. The next episode will be on the next day. please tell what kind of colour pallette you are using here ? Also yu haven't used water anywhere, so why the colors aren't drying ?
I used little amounts of paint and I mist it with water spray to keep it from drying
John, this is a very good teaching. On how to sketch and the base paintings. How you did the graph in the picture? What program did you used? What if you dont have any program like photoshop, then what? How do you decide were goes what in the grid? To many questions sorry. Thanks God bless you.
I actually used photoshop Vianni.. sorry for my late response.. been busy lately... but you can also use other apps in playstore or in iphone... just search drawing grid helper... God bless you too
