John, I watched all four parts. Don’t worry !! They’re not too long. You’re very talented. I wanted to paint a portrait in Acrylics but didn’t know were to start. I’ve always used oils. I sure know where to start now.

One of the best realistic acrilic portraits I have seen. It is nice to see a demonstration like that not in oil (for us that for health reason cannot use oils)

I just finished watching this tutorial and red some of your blog content. I learned a lot of advanced techniques. You inspired me to finish my portrait painting, patience begets a masterpiece indeed. Hats off to you sir!
By the way, I prefer using sharp pictures to draw more details but ended as rough. Do you think softer reference has more realistic outcome? Thank you.
