  2. Stunning painting John and a great tutorial, great use of lights and shades, but it seems complicated to me, I have copied some of your artwork, but I do think this one could beat me.

  3. That is a wonderful painting. The deer on the rock lends dynamic to the landscape. May I ask John, do you always paint in acrylic or do you do oils also?

  4. I noticed you used lamp black a couple years ago for your dark color. Can you explain why raw umber is better than burnt sienna or burnt umber?
