  1. As you might remember i have a filopina wife we go to the phils often we would love to meet you one day Marilyn is from san jose del monte I watch you you just about all the time learning so much your way of teaching is easy to follow thank you

  2. I love your style of painting very good John . I did a misty background in oils many years ago , But have only just started with acrylics and water mixable oils . Plus I like your very calming voice as you instruct us .

  3. Awesome painting tutorial. I love how you get the foggy effects. You are a good teacher. I also struggle with rays of sun from direct sunlight. Can you maybe show us how to do that? Also how do you clean your palette after the painting is finished? Doesn't the acrylic go hard?

    1. hello Gerard. thank you very much! I have a video that includes some light rays. You can check the "Young Deer" and "Cabin in the Woods" video for that.. I used alcohol to clean my paper palette... the acrylic does not stick to it so it's easy to clean..

  4. Thank you so much for this video. This kind of foggy weather has been one of my struggles. 🙂 This is one I'm gonna try to do surely.

  5. Perfect tutorial to learn misty effect . Wish you showed us adding leaves too . Very good job John 👏

  6. John love the video... but your audio is terrible... It was difficult to understand what you were saying... not because of your accent but because of the quality of your audio..............deb

    1. Yeah I think It's because of my accent.. The computer can't understand what I 'm saying.. :))

    2. Thank you I fixed it. It's now using English words but in no particular sense. Maybe caption can't hear you either, because it's just making up stuff, haha. A bit entertaining, though

  7. Very good demnstartion john. I really appreciate your works, they give so much confidence.
