There is a glare on your canvas. We don't get to see the base color application too clearly for the leaves of the tree. The technique that's expressed is very easy, but the glare on the canvas caused by the position of the light is a visual obstruction to the viewer's eye. But we other experienced artists appreciate what you are doing. Have fun son!

I've always had dificulty painting trees. Will try to apply the techniques I learned from your video & hopefully the trees on my paintings would start looking more realistic.

+Nonnie stretch hi, I'm using 2 types of brush here. One was pointed round brush number 2 and a flat brush number 7 and or above.
Enchanting, but please consider the repeating tune in the background, it becomes irritating and interferes with your wonderful skills

I am a huge fan of your painting, and I had just picked up a brush about two months ago. I really would like to paint realistically, and this tutorial really gave me a good foundation. Please continue posting more tutorial like this. Although you did do a tutorial on "afternoon by lake," I felt like this tutorial was a lot more helpful 🙂
