    1. Thank you so much! 🙂 I dont have any picture reference.. I practice not to use any reference so that I can be independent when it comes to painting landscapes. I will be planning to have a tutorial like proportions in subjects soon..

    2. +John, your landscapes are very interesting. Do you work from memory, or pictures? Have me made any videos showing how to draw the subjects in proportion?

    3. +Hi John magne Lisondra, many thanks for taking the time to reply to my comment! Your work is captivating and you do not need any props to make it any better. You have helped me enormously. Thank you

  1. There is a glare on your canvas. We don't get to see the base color application too clearly for the leaves of the tree. The technique that's expressed is very easy, but the glare on the canvas caused by the position of the light is a visual obstruction to the viewer's eye. But we other experienced artists appreciate what you are doing. Have fun son!

    1. Thank you so much sir... its just a product of poor lighting from a poor studio. I will set a good lighting next time. 🙂

I have enjoyed watching your vidoes on my phone so I don't have audio but just watching your painting is awesome, you make it look so easy. thank you for sharing your talent with others.

  2. I've always had dificulty painting trees. Will try to apply the techniques I learned from your video & hopefully the trees on my paintings would start looking more realistic.

    1. +Nonnie stretch hi, I'm using 2 types of brush here. One was pointed round brush number 2 and a flat brush number 7 and or above.

  3. Enchanting, but please consider the repeating tune in the background, it becomes irritating and interferes with your wonderful skills

    1. +carlos vasquez You're welcome sir and thank you so much for watching... from Philippines.

  4. I am a huge fan of your painting, and I had just picked up a brush about two months ago. I really would like to paint realistically, and this tutorial really gave me a good foundation. Please continue posting more tutorial like this. Although you did do a tutorial on "afternoon by lake," I felt like this tutorial was a lot more helpful 🙂

    1. lilazn239 Thank you so much for giving me an idea on what kind of video im going to post. I will create more tutorials like this in the future... 🙂
