  1. I really appreciate how you teach painting. Thank you. I am just a beginner but I have been able to paint some of your paintings.

  2. wow. Love this! Fabulous! Thanks for this video. I may try this. I am a beginner so I may watch a few times first. God bless you!

  3. i looove your effort, that you show the names of the paints and brushes and what you do on the palette while painting, everything is really helpful and inspiring! :o

  4. This would be so great if you could do step by step of what you are planning to do so that us beginners would know where you are going to next with the paint brush and slower on what colors you are using if you have to mix them. You are a terrific painter and would love to see you do your paintings like Michelle The Painter does hers. I want to really do this painting and ruined my canvas because I didn't know what your plan was beside the hobbit tree.

  5. I am a beginner and I love this painting. What colors did you actually use? I see you give options but with the ones I chose my (raw umber/thalo blue) are creating a green. I don't have a natural talent as you do or much experience yet I am determined to paint this!! Thank you John for giving us some tutorials and insights on how to paint PLUS sharing your art with us!!

  6. Amazing John! Since I was a little girl I've been in awe of those, like you, that have this amazing talent! I didn't know that some develop this talent through hard work and lots of practice to constantly perfect it. I can see what I want in my mind but can't yet put it to paper so THANK YOU for your sharing because I am starting to learn just how to do that!

  7. .I love your paintings! I am going to paint this one. Love the enchanted forest feeling. God bless you <3

  8. This is amazing! Definitely deserves more views. Great work! Can't wait to do this tutorial ☺️ thank you! 💜

    1. You don't have to be sad about it Adam.. it's always hard at first. Just don't give up and practice more...
