    1. Thank you for suggesting... Yes I like that and I will try to paint something like that...

    1. It's just enough to make a smooth strokes and not to much to thin the paint. So maybe you could experiment on the amount of water you add on your brush.

    1. thank you. This is one of my oldest posted video. I was still experimenting at this time that's why I forgot to show the palette of colors...

  1. I have to say you demos are brilliant.  I am learning so much.  And you have a gorgeous technique that produces the most magnificent landscapes.  Thank you.

    1. +Lynda Chinery you're welcome.. thank you for watching my demos... I am glad that you are learning from it.. :)

  2. it s beautiful! I will be not original if I tell that it s so good way to learn painting. I learned a lot of you. of course my painting not so beautiful like yours but does not matter. I started not long time ago. the main thing is that I like to do it very much. are you have in your plans to paint autumn? or rain?
    anyway: thank you very much!

    1. +Olga Roberts- van Veenendaal you're welcome.. and thanks for complimenting. that's very kind. I will try to paint like autum and rain.. sadly we don't have autum in my country.. but i will try to visualize it using pictures in googles.. thanks again

  3. John, thank you for taking the time to film and upload your videos. It really is a blessing for so many. I'm with others that have said that they prefer the 'regular speed'. You mentioned that it takes many hours to upload that, so again, thank you. I also agree with those that didn't care for the music so I just muted it. I don't think I've heard it on your normal videos.

Did you have a reference picture for this painting? I think it is my favorite so far which is more reason that I would have loved to be able and see you work more slowly.

I think you have also grown as an artist as you've been painting online. It's wonderful to see what is possible for us as well. May the Almighty continue to bless you and your painting. Again, thank you John.

    1. +Robin Barnhart You're welcome Maam and thanks so much! My new videos are in regular speed and more than 1 hour. I think those are better than this one. Yes, 1 hour video takes me 8 to 10 hours to upload. But I upload at night so it's done when I woke up. I take away the background music on my normal videos.

I don't have any reference on my paintings for tutorial videos Maam. I like my audience to learn also to use more imaginations than a reference photo.

Yes! almost all my clients I met online. I also do some exhibitions in my country but I do more online. Its easy and I am at home always. Yes! It's possible for you to do it also. You just have to share your artworks anywhere. Websites, social medias and other ways like emails.

Thank you so much for your comment Maam and your appreciation. God bless you too.. :) Have a good day.
