Can you paint rock surface in magnified (Γ2) view? I'm painting clay and find the porous surface quite hard to mimic

Oh my goodness John. I struggle to get my rocks looking like rocks. You make it look so easy. I guess that is the difference between an artist and a beginner. is experience and talent. I will keep on working on it.
