Suggestion: I believe you would do a rather good Peacock Feathers focused painting - "feather" not necessarily the bird -
I do not know if this would interest you. Some artists work on a colored ground. I even read a suggestion by Mark Waller to paint the whole thing red if the painting is going to be on the green side. I am telling you this because I once painted the canvas all red and when I started painting I felt a certain thrill which I had never felt before. If you care to try it you may feel the same way. Thanks for posting this great painting and thanks for your very clear explanations. Wish you the best.
