  1. Very helpful tip in this excellent tutorial. John, I guess that acrylics dry a shade darker, so we should match with slightly lighter shade. Is that right or it doesn't matter?

  2. Te vagy az a művész, aki képes mustárral és ketchuppal is festeni. Nagyon hasznos és elragadó videóid vannak, imádom őket!!!! Köszönöm szépen! (hungarian)

  3. John this is a super good lesson, Thank you so much. Can you please write down the colors that you use? I got the titanium white, Lamp black, Phalo blue and I think you said medium yellow and Brilliant red but I'm not sure. Does it matter which choice of red, yellow and blue that we use? Thank you again for all your help.

    1. Okay, John, Thank you so much. It's probably Cadmium yellow medium. And I don't have Brilliant red but I've got some strong red colors and a primary red, as well.

    2. thank you Debby.. I think I put the colors on the first part of the video.. Yes you said it right.. I used that colors... just use the primary colors or has the same shade.

    1. you can mix phthalo blue with white and a little amount of yellow.. just play with that colors...

  4. Thats really nice.......it looks simple here but actually not.....
please opload one video on colour blending tips...and different methods

  5. You are amazing. great tutorial on color mixng to match you reference. You did not take into account that acrylics dry darker. do you adjust for that or do u accept that it will dry darker?

  6. Great video John thank you for explaining. I'm still a beginner at this and want to use a simple pallet. This is a great help to me. Many thanks for showing it.
