  1. Just beautiful. I too, am a self taught artist. It encourages me to know that someone that does such beautiful art is as well. Thanks for teaching us. :)

  2. I love your videos, but I have to be honest, I really prefer your voice to the mechanical one. Yes, sometimes I might have to listen carefully to understand what you say with your Spanish accent, I still can manage, and it sounds much more pleasant than this robot voice!

    1. That is good, and I realized that your accent might not have been spanish, so I checked out your bio, I see you are from the Philippines, I am so glad you are using your own voice now. Thank you for replying.

    2. Thank you Vicki.. This was one of my old videos.. I was not confident enough to used my own voice that's why I prefer this before... Don't worry I won't use this robot voice again..

WoW...thankyou for answering me John...you no what I do ...I put your video on real slow speed n stop I at certain points...this way I can really study your work...you are a fantastic artist n Thankyou so much for sharing ...you certainly ha helped me!!!

  3. John, I love your real voice and your cute accent! Please use your real voice from now on. Your voice and accent are relaxing. thanks for another great lesson!

  4. MAESTRO ...SE HACE NECESARIO ENFOQUE DE PALETA ; MUY LENTA LENTA ; EN LA PALETA CAMARA LENTA..... POR LO DEMAS EXCELENTE.!!

  5. WOW, 1st let me say thats amazing you did this on cardboard. I saved this months ago so I could give it a try. I love clouds... And this is the best I have seen done. Iam going to paint along with you on the video. I have a question I noticed the cardboard was wet with white paint when you started? was that to just cover the cardboard? or for blending with the blue to lighten. Iam using acrylic paper. Also you used 1 inch flat brisel like for oils? And the 2nd brush? was it like 3/4 flat synthetic, (the black brush) and the 3rd was a #3 round right? You didn't use any kind of extenders to keep from drying just water correct? 💘 the painting. You are very talented & very glad you told us you are self tought. Thank you so much for sharing. ps I kinda like the voice. Some people I don't know they just have to fuss.... Completely understand where you were coming from on that though. Best regards Dawn

    1. +Dawn Tester you're welcome and thank you also. Yes never give up.... mistakes are part of learning. And if you feel like stressing. You can relax for a while and do other things or painting and get back and try again. That's how it works for me. And also the more you'll do it the more you will know how to use your brushes and mixing with colors. That's how you will learn... just keep doing it and have fun always.. :)

    2. John magne Lisondra thank you soooo much. I tried it yesterday afternoon, was so excited. But didn't come out to well, looked a little better this morning, was drying to quickly yesterday, ended up using to much paint trying to keep it wet. My paper(canson Montval Acrylic 185 lb cold press) was very thirsty too. I got up at 2 am and watched your video again and decided to try again this morning. I saved all my left over paints and they are ready to go. I was so happy to see your response this morning Thank You for answering so quickly. I normally work in oils and watercolor. You have to be quick with watercolors too unless you want hard edges. I bought all my new acrylic stuff to paint these clouds with you I love them that much... lol they are Awesome . It may take 3-4 times as you say but Never Give Up Never Surrender Right. ok so I am going to try again this time using a coat of white acrylic (to prime) first. Thanks for any and all advice. ps. I set the bell on my subscription with you so I can see your new paintings as well. looking forward to it. Sincerely Dawn

    3. thank you very much Dawn... Yes I primed my cardboard with white acrylic paint to make it smooth and allows paint to flow freely... Yes, you are right with the brushes.. I only used water to make it a little fluid.. You're welcome... I am sorry about the voice... I didn't use it on my new videos because most people like it. I used my own voice now and I hope you can still understand my accent.. thank you Dawn.. :)

You are quite welcome! This is a great cloud lesson! And yours are beautiful. I appreciate people like you who take the time and effort to make and post videos like these that spread your knowledge to everyone who watches them. My own painting skills have improved quite a lot with the guidance of people such as yourself.
      Many, many thanks!

    1. Sorry Marian.. This is my old video and was not confident enough to use my voice. I used my own voice on my new videos.

    1. Sorry sir.. This is my old videos and was not confident enough to use my voice. I used my own voice on my new videos.

  6. Kuya.

  7. Inspiring. I learn more by watching than listening, so computer voice does not bother me. Great Job John!!
