    1. John magne Lisondra Thanks! I can't believe that I made it this good but still I need to work on shadows and the light source thing

  1. hi john i admire you techniques, your colors used are so simple. i just want to know which part of the philippines are you based? do you have a shop?

    1. thank you Grace.. I am from Negros Oriental... I still don't have shop. I also done exhibits in manila before...

    1. even if you paint this and the result is a little different. It is still an achievement because you try it the best you can at the moment and it's the best gift you can give to your mom.

    1. just add a little amount of red on your blue paint to make it indigo. Not too much red just enough because it will turn to violet.

  2. I love this but it being so dark, I could not see any detail until the red flower petals. Leaves I can't see at all 🙁

    1. John magne Lisondra I think you are right. I am viewing this on my iPad with brightness all the way up. So, I will try on my PC instead. Thank you!

  3. I love it! Your range of painting skills is so amazing. You have a God given talent, thanks for sharing it!

I noticed you are the only ONE who have a cleaned palettes and brushes .. a truly Filipino  attitudes, I really admire and love your style , I thought I am the only one who washes everything every time.. Lahat ng ginagamit ko parang hindi nagagamit.. LOL .  hopefully next time I go back to Philippines I can meet you in person... thousand thumbs up to you
