This is a basic portrait painting tutorial that focuses only on the part of the eyes. In this tutorial you can also learn how to paint flesh skin tone, highlights and shadings and creating textures on the eyes and face to make it more like hyper-realistic painting. Although this is far from hyper-realism but the more details you can add the nearer it will become. It is a full 1 hour and 36 minutes full painting tutorials from the start of sketching until finishing the final details. It's a full instructional process made for beginners who wanted to paint like a realistic or even hyper realistic eye painting. Hi John Thanks in advance for your willingness to share your talent.. I'm pretty new and need all the help I can get! Could I ask what I hope is not too silly a question.. When there is different options for the primary colours does it matter in which combination they are used? For instance when your giving a tutorial and your mixing say a grey colour does it matter which blue, red or brown you use? Hope I'm making sense and any guidance much appreciated:)

Could I ask one more question... You give us a choice of 3 for the primaries, does it matter in which combination they are used? So... If I pick Ultramarine do I then have to use say Cad Red to make the purple your using? Or would it not matter which red I use?

thank you for that good question Sharon... it doesn't matter what's the name of that blue or red as long as it is close to the primaries because it's important to have that kind of shade for better combination to create the secondary colors and so on... 🙂
