how would You paint a shadow from the oak tree that extends out into the water without losing the awesome reflections from the background? i know I've seen it irl.. but not sure how You would paint it.
that's a hard technique and needs more careful in adjusting the values of color. You can try some reference to do it.
Nice, I see you paint this quiet grass zone in bottom left side, but I guess you can add a hidden tree shadow in this zone, it will be nice. What do you think? I like that you used more purple in this painting, really nice :)
