do you give classes
my schedule is still tight today but yes. :)
in watercolor, do you have to know how to draw first?
yes, you need to sketch because in water color there's no room for errors. You cannot retouch or cover up if something goes wrong.
Beautiful

Another beautiful painting John, your ability to get the finest detail is unquestionable, as you can hit any part of your painting with a few tiny dots and it transforms it into something else, truly awesome, also a great tutorial.

I love you Jon👍 ur amazing 💖
thank you Trish :) I love you too :)
I pressed like of course. Thanks for a demonstration of a very beautiful painting. If you don't mind I have a small suggestion about the perspective of the balcony. Maybe you would like initially to take a piece of chalk and a ruler - choose a vanishing point and simply draw the perspective lines. Fast and you will have an accurate guide. The chalk of course will go off when you use the raw umber for the sketch. Hope you like this and thanks again for everything.
Thank you.. I actually did that but not on this one.. I got lazy and trust my eyes which in turn it mislead the right perspective..
beautiful john....i love paintings that make me feel like i'm in it too!..........i may not be on a vacation, but, i can step into your picture and take time to relax and just breathe....thank you
You're welcome Margaret and thank you very much! Rwally appreciate it
This is a really amazing painting. A fresh perspective in art from time to time is must. I love the colours you have used in it. The painting is subtle yet it's brilliant. Keep up the good work, Sir.
