One of my painting after sometime became pale yellow and dull. can you help me out what am I doing wrong? I use turpentine and linseed oil for mixture.

    • +Anuradha Bhatia thank you… i think you exposed your paintings on direct sunlight or on bright lights. That’s always the possible reasons why painting fades and also if it’s really old.

  11. hi, when i start paint generally paint sticks with brush or it doesnt come out nicely , what do i do to overcome this

    • add a little amount of water on your brush… just dip the tip…

  12. You dont need to use the base (primer) befor you star painting? Is it important or by choice?

    • Khanboubi Leila what’s a primers.

    • John magne Lisondra

    • John magne Lisondra oh thank you so much , i apreciat it , thanks for the information

    • primer will protect the canvas from absorbing all your paints… Yes it always makes a difference. But when you buy a stretched canvas from an art store, most of them are pre-primed and you don’t have to prime it.
