  1. Jm, do you prepare your 300gm paper with Gesso? Thanking you, Eddie.

    • I actually use hardboard… but this one is a canvas stapled on plywood.. when I use hardboard, I primed it with 2 coats of gesso or white acrylic.

    • thank you Ken.. Actually that is my style since then… I had even longer small finger nails before. like more than 1 inch… But I am cutting them off every time I am doing some video tutorials… I just forgot to cut it when I made this video… sorry about that…

JM:  Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video.  I learned so much about brush techniques, colors and layering just by watching.  I divide my spare time between playing  music and rehearsing with my band and also painting.  This has inspired me to dedicate more time to painting since I can see that it may be possible for me also to create beautiful work by just taking the proper steps.  Thanks again!
