Painting tutorial for beginners on how to paint a fire tree. This type of tree grows so many places in the Philippines. It is distinguishable because of its red flowers that looks like a burning flame. I still don’t know the origin of this tree or what country. Please enjoy watching me painting this landscape scene. And if you want to follow and copy this painting please feel free to share it with me.. You can tag or message it with me on facebook, twitter, instagram or even on my website. Anything you want that is suitable for you.

Hi, John. Thanks for getting back with me so soon. I’m impressed with the type of coverage you’re achieving with student grade pigments. Where in the Philippines do you live? I was retired there. I would love to meet and paint with you someday. I started off as a traditional oil painter in 1991, switched to watercolors in 2010 and then began using acrylics early last year. Take care. Al
Art of John Magne Lisondra says:
you’re welcome Al… I am from the province of negros oriental.. quiet far from the capital city… have you been here in the Philippines? oil is my favorite medium. I can blend better on that but acrylic dries fast and I can paint faster with it.
Big Al on the Move says:
What brand of pigments do you use, and are they ‘heavy body’?
Art of John Magne Lisondra says:
It’s just student grade Al… liquitex basics and reeves

You mix beautiful colors with such ease. You always know what colors you want and where you want to place them. I struggle with mixing colors. You are a joy to watch, I learn a lot from you. I like when you encourage and say -‘you have to practice’. Your instruction is wonderful! Thank you so much for posting these videos. You are truly blessed. Cheers!
