    • you’re welcome Sharon… I am glad that you did it. just have fun painting.. :)

  7. Love the colors. Thanks!

    • thank you.

  8. Love your paintings but I’m wondering, if you are only using water for your medium how are you keeping your acrylic wet on your pallet without a wet pallet? My stuff would have started to dry on the pallet by now..

    • Thank you.. I finished all this tutorial for an hour and I used small amounts of paints every time so that I won’t waste it when it dries. And just refill it when empty. And when the paint feels hard I just dip the tip of my brush into the water to make it fluid.

  9. Amazing! I want to do something like this but with cherry blossoms, I really love your work.

    • I want to see it, congratulations for your wonderful work.

    • I am actually planning to do a cherry blossom tutorial on my next full video.

  10. Hi John,
I stumbled onto your videos and am impressed that you’re self-taught! Have you ever thought about going to an art college to learn about different media for painting that’s available? It’s a joy to watch you paint! Beautiful! I love your unique style! If you do go to art college, never loose that uniqueness! Just add onto what you already know & never loose that joy of painting! GREAT stuff!

    • thank you Carol… I’ve been painting for 16 years now and I love experimenting mediums… most of my recent works were in oils and I tried watercolors and pastels also. For me I think I am old to go to art school… :)
