  1. Really enjoyed watching you paint and will certainly follow and like your page. Was frustrated when you were painting off camera as you were out of shot and I missed what was going on. Many thanks loved this and will be giving it a try!

    • you’re welcome… I apologized for the part that was off camera. I didn’t notice it while filming. Thank you Ann for following and giving this a try,.. Keep it up!

  2. Congratulations, amazing job,Do you use water for blending ?

    • thank you.. Yes I use water to thin the acrylic.

  3. Beautiful painting. What paints are you using?

    • Thank you so much, I love your work.

    • I used mostly Reeves and Liquitex Basics. It’s just student grade acrylics. But if you are using heavy body, it’s way better…

    • I guess I should have asked, what name brand are you using and are they heavy body? Thank you

    • thank you.. I’m using acrylic.

  4. Puedes usar colores similares? Por ejemplo Enves de “phthalo Blue” puedes usar “Ultramarine Blue” Y enves de “medium Yellow” puedes usar “Yellow ochre” Porfavor me Pueda Responder?

    • Very nice tutorial ..thanks

    • +John magne Lisondra (JMLisondra) Muchas Gracias:)

    • sĆ se puede utilizar ocre amarillo azul ultramarino , pero es como de color amarillo dorado . Creo que es difĆcil de mezclar para crear colores brillantes . Hanza amarillo es mejor.

    • De nada … gracias por ver este video .

  18. Really enjoy your videos. Question, So on the yellow is this only one coat?? I can’t get the same coverage or brightness of color, even if I add little while to it. My colors just not as vibrant. You never seem to have problems with paint dragging on canvas, but I only use one coat of gesso. If used 2 more coats do you think that would help. Notice you always have 3 coats.??

    • Thank you for taking time to help with my struggle. Will definitely try.!!

    • Yes having 3 coats of primer is an advantage so that the canvas won’t absorb the paints. And sanding it will help the surface to become smooth and the brush flows easily. and make sure your brush is clean when you use light colors like yellow and white because other colors will spoil it and it will not be so vibrant.

  19. remember these grwing in the garden as a child in new zealand, can’t wait to try painting my own. thank you so much

  20. This is beautiful!
