  4. Hi, do you wet your canvas before you start painting? When I paint, the brush doesn’t flow smoothly like yours and I have to apply paint on the brush time and again. Is there any gesso that you apply?

    • Thanks!

    • I just dip the tip of my brush to make it fluid but not too much just enough to flow it freely on canvas. Yes I primed with 3 coats of gesso.

  14. Wonderful controlled brush strokes. But wouldn’t it have been easier with a fan brush?

    • Yes I guess… I am comfortable using the flat brushes. I will try to use the fan brush in the future.
