  2. Once again, another awesome lesson! I would laugh at the person that says you have your shadows in the wrong place. They obviously don’t understand art , but to question the awesomeness of your paintings? I call that insane! John, you are so awesome I wouldn’t even worry about what others say about your work. But once again I totally appreciate your lessons!! They teach me so much. Thanks again John for sharing your spectacular work!!

  5. Excellent job of describing and showing the difference between shadowing an object and highlighting it. Great job on light sources and light colors and your blending of these light source colors A+ my friend. That is always my first decision in a painting where is the light source coming from. I still use shapes like triangle’s, sphere’s and cylinder shapes to warm up on before I paint, just to get in the grove. Love your video’s. Thanks

  15. can the shadow be in front?..and there is a difference in shadow..or reflection and highlight? yes?
