    But I prefer tempera, it dries faster and does not smell

  20. As good as I knew it would be! Just a general question, John. I’m learning to paint and have been purchasing REALLY inexpensive canvases. Even after 3 coats of gesso, I notice my brushes do not slide along the canvas like yours seem to do. Maybe I need to spend a little more on canvases? Maybe your brushes don’t slide quite as smoothly as it looks on video? Maybe it’s my paint quality? Any advice for me? Thanks, and beautiful job on this painting!
