  8. John Hi! I watched a cloud tutorial you have out. I also watched other Artists and their cloud techniques for (3) weeks before I got the nerve up to try my own. Brother, I spent a *7) day week trying to just come close to one of your clouds. To no avail! I was hoping to find a hobby to help me with certain residual problems from overseas. I can assure you, it is not painting!! After a $300.00 investment and tutorials out the gazoo, I give up! I will content myself with the refunds I was able to get from the art supply sellers and watch you transform a blank canvas to absolute Beauty my Friend. Let’s not B.S. ourselves, some people have it and some people don’t. You do & I don’t. This is not my first attempt art some artistic endeavor in my life but I assure you, it is my last!! LOL!! Keep up the Great work John for all those Viewers of your that do have the talent and just need an informational boost from time to time. Best Wishes, Walt

    • thank you Walt… Don’t worry about if your painting is not as good as you like it today, just paint because it relaxes you, just paint because it made you expressed what your heart wanted to see. Focus on what you feel about in your art and let other people feel it… Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how good you are but how you touch others and how you feel about it :)

    • @Little Eden Organics Yeah, I think if you are somewhat at peace with yourself and others, I believe art can propel that feeling much farther. I do hope it works for you Annette. I am going to look at your site as well. Walt

    • I like to ask myself if painting makes the world’s weight slide off my shoulders that’s what I want to do. .. even if it looks like mud. My husband is a Veteran and I noticed a huge change in him when he works in our gardens or playing with just dirt, pots and plants. If painting relaxes you…make mud… everyday. In time when that muddy stroke looks good stop and ask yourself how firm (or light) you’re holding the brush and/or pressing down on the canvas, paper, etc. If painting isn’t for you, maybe drawing is; doodling? Hope you are able to find your Calgon. :)

    • i used reeves, liquitex basics and pebeo here.. but i love the pebeo opaque colors
