  8. Now, One question I have is …why does everyone use use White as a highlite instead of just a lighter shade of the color their highlighting?

    • Its just exaggeration.. sometimes its good like that..

  9. I mean when you look at a three in the sunlight does the sun look white? no! It’s a lighter shade of the base color! Why use white to highlight?

  11. Don’t get me wrong John, your painting is great and really enjoy watching. But the highlights just seem wrong to me

    • Its fine… its just a painting.. its normal… copying from photo might have a different results..
