That pure white highlighting on the big pine tree just makes it pop! That big tree looks so beautifuk, I just love looking at it. If I make this painting though, the only change I’d make is I’d put the Moon in the sky instead of fireworks. I hope maybe in the future you will show us how to paint more types of houses, and boats. I try to paint some scenes with lakes, beavhes, etc. and would love to put a rowboat or canoe in the foreground, but just don’t know how. Thank you for all your videos. They are so beautiful. I can/t wait to make a nighttime winter scene like this one with a big pine tree like yours with the light reflecting.
I have a question though, if I put the Moon in, instead of fireworks, do you think I should still use the pure white highlights on the big tree?

thank you very much! really appreciate it… yes you can still put white highlights into the big tree.. sometimes over exaggeration can put more beauty even though it doesn’t look that realistic.
