  8. Thank you John for the wonderful tutorial, you explain everything in such detail, I’ve always found portraits difficult but with your knowledge I have made really excellent progress. It doesn’t matter how long the videos are if people are learning. Could you advise how you keep your palette wet and good consistency with the paint, as mine dries out really quick? It’s taking me longer as I have to make these complex colour combinations each time. You are a truly a gifted artist, keep up the fantastic work. Tony

    • Hello Tony, thank you very much! You can spray your palette with a little water or even the paints when its drying so you can keep it wet

    • I use adobe photoshop but you can search in android app also

  19. What type of pen is used for the grid and sketching ? I couldnā€™t hear

  20. Y were u mixing shades/colours instead of using the pre-mixed skin tone shades ,(like browns)that confuses begniners!

    • Beginners need to learn how to MIX! Mixing is the basic. You cannot go to college if you don’t start with elementary.
